In 2009 Vietserve commissioned its concrete cooling plant at Dakmi 4 dam in Central Vietnam, belonging to the Idico Group. Vietserve had been awarded the tender in 2008 and proceeded to design, supply and install a complete system to work side by side with the concrete batching plants.

Vietserve supplied 03 of the largest Northstar 90CS industrial icemakers, including 2 day tanks and control panels. In addition the refrigeration system used three of our large Vilter single screw compressors. All installation and construction of framework, coldstores, elevating and reversing screw conveyors and other materials were supplied and installed under Vietserve project management.

Due to the time constraints on the pouring of the cement, whereby a minimum dam wall height had to be achieved before the monsoon season began, it was imperative that the owner have a high quality system that could be relied upon to operate without problems in remote locations and under tight time constraints. Vietserve was able to provide that solution.

Today the system continues to operate as designed and the Dakmi 4 dam is continuing construction as planned.
