In November Vietserve welcomed Brian Slack, Senior Service Manager for Perkins, to Ho Chi Minh City for a week of service training and customer site 

visits. Perkins engines power the Vogele pavers sold by Vietserve as Distributor for Wirtgen Group.

Vietsere’s technicians and engineers were able to enjoy an extensive training programme, focusing on fault finding, engine management and repair. Part of the training was classroom based in our service centre training facility, and the remainder was conducted at customer job sites.

 

One of the key tasks going forward is to educate our customers on the benefits of secure and clean supply of fuels. As Perkins engines are Tier 3 modern technology, it is important that diesel be free of contaminants. In past months, together with Perkins we have visited our Perkins customers offering a free of charge inspection of filters, injectors and the engine in general, giving recommendations on maintenance.

Vietserve offer maintenance agreements through our Preferred Partner scheme and our aim is to help our customers enjoy the use of their machinery for the maximum working time. As they say, “time is money” and preventative maintenance is a key component of keeping these units on the road earning income for their owners.

 

With the ongoing training received from Perkins, our technicians are able to identify and repair problems should they occur with the minimum disruption to our customers schedule. Our 24 hour emergency callout gives customer peace of mind.
